Hazaribagh District




Hazaribagh lies in the northern part of Jharkhand at an elevation of 2000 ft. It has a high central plateau, a lower and more extensive plateau and the central valley of the Damodar River. Main crops are rice, paddy, wheat, maize and oilseeds. The prime attractions are Bokaro Falls, Banaso, Bishnugarh, Ichak, Konar Dam, Kanhari, Hazaribagh National park, Rajrappa, Patratu and Suraj Kund.
