Surinsar Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary




Surinsar Mansar Wildlife Sanctuary is located 42 km from Jammu.

Spread over an area of 97 sq km, near the Mansar and Surinsar lakes, it is home to goral, wild boar, barking deer, leopard, black partridge, red jungle fowl, peafowl, grey partridge, green pigeon, blue rock pigeon, and rufus turtle dove. Best time to visit the sanctuary is from September to May.
