The famous Shrine of Syed Mohammad Samri is located at Laspora in
Badgam District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 7 km from Habir in
Khag.
Syed Mohammad Samri came to Laspora from Shopian and mediated in the dense forests for years. A shrine was constructed in memory of the Baba in the village, where he took his last breath and was laid to rest.
Devotees mob to this shrine on every 12th of Phaguna and pay rich tribute to the saint.
