Rishipur

Rishipur is a remote mountainous village located near Bandipore of Baramulla District, Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 75 km north of Srinagar and is 5,147 ft above sea level.

Rishipur has Shahalpur in the west, Badra Bala in the north, Wangam in the east and Dangiwuts in the south. The 18 km long Rishipora Canal situated here is worth visiting.

Rishipur can be accessed by bus or private vehicles from Baramulla, Marigpur and Batsum.
