Located in the eastern part of
Leh District, Punguk is a small settlement at the Indo – China border in
Jammu and Kashmir. It is set at a height of about 14,183 ft above sea level and is to the south-east of
Leh. Punguk is bounded by
Chumar to the west,
Rhongo in the north,
Khuldo in the east and Zong in the south.
Punguk is accessible from
Hanle and
Ukdungle.
