Phuktal Monastery

Built during the 15th century, Phuktal Monastery belongs to the reformed Gelygpa. Set in a cave perched high over a steep cliff, this magnificent monastery is made of twigs and mud.

Phutkal Monastery can be appraoched from Padum.
