Mini Kashmir of Kathua District



Also referred as Mini Kashmir of Kathua District, Bani is small glacial valley located in Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 88 km from Basholi.

Lying at an attitude of 1280 m, the valley has temperate and polar type of climate. Bani prosper along the banks of Sewa River. The magnificent meadows, gushing streams, waterfalls and dense wood make it a beautiful tourist spot.

Bani is also the base for trekkers of Bhaderwah and Chamba. There are numerous exciting trekking routes, which pass through virgin mountain areas of loveliness.

Sarthal is a beautiful meadow situated 20 km away.
