Kartse River traverses Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. The river flows from the east, rising from the Rangdum Pass and is a tributary of the Suru River. There is an ancient village Kartse-Khar near the river. The Kartse Valley is the valley formed by the Kartse river.
