Grihastha




According to Manu Smriti, Grihastha is the second phase among the four phases of a man. It is preceded by Brahmacharya and followed by Vanaprastha and Sanyasa. A man gets married and settles down with family in this phase.

'Grihastha' is a Sanskrit word in which 'Gruha' stands for 'house.' The word Grihastha represents a person who runs a house.
