Gandarbal, was originally known as Doderhom, the official headquarters of the
Sindh valley. Gandarbal is a pleasant little town, where the icy
Sindh Nallah leaves the mountains and enters the plains.
The shrine of Khirbhawani, the Goddess Ragni, is in the
Tullamulla Village, at a distance of 5 km from Gandarbal. The village is a virtual floating garden surrounded by swamps.
