Dutung




Set at an elevation of 17,007 ft above sea level, Dutung is a scenic place in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 41 km from Chumar. Paldhar in the west, Karzok in the north, Chepzi in the east and Domli in the south constitute the neighboring places.

Dutung is famous for being the meeting place of two water bodies which form the Pare Chu. A trek from Tso Moriri to Kibber via Norbu Sumdo and Karsha passes through Dutung. Dutung is accessible from Rupshu, Kiato and Sir Bhum Chun.
