Chingas

Chingas is a small and scattered village, located on the Jammu-Rajouri highway, in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on the right bank of Tawi River.

Major point of attraction here is a Mughal sarai, which is historically renowned for containing mortal remains of Emperor Jahangir. Just 0.5 km north of the sarai is the remains of an old baoli.

Chingas is well connected with Rajouri and Muradpur.
