Changla Pass




Changla Pass is a photogenic place on the Leh - Durbuk – Tangtse route. It is the 3rd highest motorable road in the world. The pass is at a height of 5486 m leading to Tangtse. On the way one can enjoy the charming beauty of the mountains crowned with snow, which forms part of the Himalayas. The journey through the winding roads passing through Sakti village is a breathtaking experience. Pangong Lake and Thiksey monastery are other nearby attractions. Changla is the gateway to India's strategic border areas with China.
