Chamar Sar is a bean shaped lake, situated in the highlands of
Pir Panjal Range, in
Rajouri District of
Jammu and Kashmir. Lying at altitude of 3300 m, the lake is a popular picnic spot as well as a place for superb water sports.
This lake having circumference more than 12 km is full of icebergs till late July. It is a source of Chamar Nala, which ultimately joins Bafliaz Nala.
Chamar Sar Lake is one day's trekking from the Ravi Walli Marg.
