Buffliaz




Buffliaz is one of the beautiful hilly spots in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 39 km east of Poonch.

This village was named after the horse of Alexander the great (Bunifales), who is believed to have died there. It is situated on either banks of the Poonch River. As sited on the foothill of Pir Rattan range, this place provides treks for the trekkers.

Buffliaz can be accessed from Gali (46 km) and Shopian (43 km).
