Zingzingbar

Zingzingbar is situated 18 km from Baralacha Pass in the Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of around 4,270 m, on the Manali – Chandra Tal Lake trek route. Bhaga River flows through Zingzingbar. Rock glaciers can be seen around. The region is surrounded by rocky hills.

Zingzingbar provides enchanting views of snow-clad mountain peaks and glaciers. It has a military camp for road maintenance. Darcha, Batal, Keylong, Suraj Tal, Chhota Dara and Gramphu are nearby tourist destinations. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.

Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar is the nearest airport. Zingzingbar is connected to Manali (167 km) by road.
