Udaipur




Udaipur is a town in Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of 2,743 meters, and is around 53 km north of Keylong.

The village was called 'Markul' in olden days. Major attraction here is the Markula Devi Temple. For trekkers the village doubles up as a starting base for Mayur valley and further to Zanskar and other peaks.

Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
