Kugti




Kugti, located close to Kugti Pass, is a scenic village in Chamba District. It is at an altitude of 5,040 and is on the way from Bharmaur to Keylong.

Kugti overlooks the beautiful forests of conifer and deodar, and is remarkable with a wildlife sanctuary (Kugti Sanctuary) harboring a diverse variety of flora and fauna. Another landmark here is the temple of Keylong Wazir.

Kugti is the last occupied village of Bharmaur and is about 87 km from Chamba. It can be reached from Bharmaur and Chamba. The best periods to visit are from May to June and September to October.
