Jubbal

Jubbal, 20 km from Hatkoti, is one of the big towns in Shimla District. It is 1,892 m above the sea level. Formerly, this was the ruling seat of the princely state.

The major attraction here is a beautiful palace, which is a blend of European and traditional architecture. It was designed by a French architect in 1930. Apple orchards add to the scenic beauty. Kharathpur is nearby. Jubbal is 90 km east of Shimla, and the nearest railhead and airport are at Shimla.
