White-crested Kaleej

White-crested Kaleej is a black and white pheasant with red face and white crest. Female of the species is fully brown except for red face patch. The bird inhabits thickets of bamboo and shrubs adjacent to cultivation and water sources.

The bird can be seen in the Great Himalayan National Park, Himachal Pradesh.
