Tara Devi

Tara Devi is a small town about 11 km from Shimla Bus Station, in Shimla District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an altitude of 2,100 m above sea level on the Shimla-Kalka highway. Surrounded by lush green forests and hills, Tara Devi offers enchanting views of snow-capped peaks. Tara Devi Temple (3 km) and Lord Shiva Temple are the main attractions here. Summer Hill, Sankat Mochan Temple, Prospect Hills, Mahunag Temple and Chadwick Falls are nearby tourist destinations. Tara Devi is connected to Shimla by road. The nearest airport and main railway station are at Shimla.
