Jwalamukhi Fair

Jwalamukhi Fair is organized during the Navratra of Chaitra (March) and Ashad (July -August). It is a 10-day fair and is held at Jwalamukhi Temple in Kangra.

The devotees make offerings and go round the Jwala Kund, where the sacred fire burns. Folk dances, songs and plays are the accompaniments of this fair. Shops and temples in the town put on a new look and colorful lights glitter the evenings.
