Pandu Bridge




Pandu Bridge is situated 12 km from Thakar Kuan in Kullu District. It is a natural rock bridge situated on the Parvati River. The bridge lies at an altitude of about 3,700 m, on the Pin Parvati Pass trek route in the Parvati Valley.

According to the Bhagavad Gita, a Hindu mythological scripture, the bridge commemorates the retreat of the Pandavas.

The place offers panoramic views of the alpine meadows. Mantalai Lake (15 km), Tunda Bhuj, Kalga and Khirganga are nearby tourist spots. Base camps are available near the bridge.

Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar is the nearest airport. Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
