Nurpur




Nurpur is a small town in Bijnor District on the state highway connecting Amroha and Najibabad. It is about 8 km west of Tajpur, 21 km south of Nihtaur and 10 km north of Pheona. The district headquarters of Bijnor lies to the north-west of Nurpur.

Daranagar and Ganj are the two important places that can be accessed from Nurpur via Chandpur. The colorful mela held at Khari Jhalu, to the north of Nurpur, is one of the biggest fairs celebrated in the state.

Nurpur is well connected by road with its neighboring places. Chandpur Railway Station and Jolly Grant Airport are the nearest access points.
