Manimahesh Kailash Peak

Manimahesh Kailash Peak, 35 km from Bharmaur, is located in the Bharmaur valley of Chamba District.

Towering at an altitude of about 5656 m, this peak is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. This peak is also called as Chamba Kailash and at its base is the Manimahesh Lake. A little temple in the shikhara style lies nearby. Every year a Manimahesh Yatra is organized and it has been declared as a state-level fair by the Himachal Pradesh Government.

Manimahesh is about 214 km from Pathankot Railway Station, via Chamba.
