Karpat

Karpat is a beautiful hamlet, situated amid large conifer trees, in the north-western part of Lahaul and Spiti District. Gumba is 4 km to the north and Khanjar is nearly 10 km to the east. Udaipur-Gramphu trekking route passes through Karpat. Nearby tourist destinations are Ramjak Peak, Shashur Monastery, Tayul Monastery, Khardong Monastery, Suraj Tal Lake, Gepang Goh Peak, Mulkila Peak and Chandra Tal. Kullu Manali Airport and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the main access points.
