Kangra Bus Station is situated north of Kangra Bazaar, along the Dharamshala Road, in the western part of Himachal Pradesh. Regular buses are available to Dharamshala, Palampur and Masrur.
Major railway stations are the
Kangra Railway Station (3 km south of the Kangra town) and the Kangra Mandir station (3 km east of the town). The nearest airport is Gaggal Dharamsala Airport.
Vajreshwari Devi (Kangra Devi) Temple, the ancient fort of Nagar Kot (2.5 km south of the town), Maharana Pratap Sagar Sanctuary and Sujanpur-Tira are nearby attractions. In the immediate vicinity of the station, there are several hotels providing comfortable accommodation.
