Gurdwara Nadaun

Gurdwara Nadaun is a famous Sikh pilgrim center, located in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh.

This holy shrine stands in memory of Guru Gobind Singh, who fought a vigorous battle against the Mughal Commander-in-Chief, Alif Khan, who was sent by the Viceroy of Jammu to collect arrears of tribute from hill Rajas in 1687. Guru Gobind Singh and his allies defeated the army led by Alif Khan. After the battle Guru stayed in Nadaun on the banks of the Beas River for 8 days.

Gurdwara Nadaun can be reached by bus from Kangra (30 km).
