Gokul




Gokul is a picturesque hamlet lying at an altitude of 6,500 ft above sea level in Kinnaur District, Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the Buran Pass trek route in the Baspa Valley. The Tons River flows by the village. Chanshil Pass, Balcha, Batawa Thaatch, Karchham, Jhanglik and Shiladesh are nearby locations. Base camps are available. Treks to Buran Pass begin from this village. The nearest railway station and airport are at Shimla. Gokul can be accessed from Sarahan and Mussoorie.
