Jwalamukhi

Jwalamukhi is about 70 km south of Dharamsala and is 30 km from Kangra. The town is famous for Jwalamukhi Temple.

Two important fairs are held here, in early April and in mid October. Accommodation is available at Hotel Jwalaji, run by the Himachal Tourism Department. About 10 km from Jwalamukhi is the Nadaun, a lovely tourist place. The nearest airport is Gaggal Dharamsala Airport, 46 km from Jwalamukhi. Jwalamukhi Road Railway Station is on the Pathankot-Kangra line.
