Aghanjar Mahadev Temple

Aghanjar Mahadev Temple is a famous shrine situated near Khaniyara Village in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is 8 km from Dharamsala.

Legend is that, Lord Shiva appeared here before Arjuna, who was on his way to the Kailash Ranges, and blessed him for his victory over the Kauravas.

The temple can be reached by bus from Dharamsala and Kangra.
