Khokhan Wildlife Sanctuary is located about 19 km from
Kullu.
Common inhabitants are black bear, leopard, barking deer, goral, musk deer, porcupine and gothu. Besides, numerous birds such as monal, cheer pheasants, kaleej and chakor.
The best time to visit is April to June and September to October.
