Dancho




Situated at an altitude of 2,550 m, Dancho is about eight km from Hadsar in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies on the Manimahesh Lake trek route in Bharmaur Valley.

Surrounded by flowering meadows, Dancho is an ideal destination for trekking and mountaineering. Gauri, a small stream, flows through it. The village has a magnificent waterfall.

Dancho is the base camp for Manimahesh Yatra, a pilgrimage to Manimahesh Lake. Accommodation facilities are available. Chaurasi Temple, Bharmaur, Dunali and Chamba are the nearby tourist destinations.

Gaggal Airport is the nearest airport. Nearest railway station is at Pathankot.
