Saint Shah Choka Mela is a fair held in
Gurgaon District. The fair is mainly attended by the Meos.
Meos assemble at the tomb of Saint Shah Choka near Ferozpur Jhirka and pay their homage. Hindus also participate in the fair.
This fair is a great occasion for the people to run away and marry secretly. This fair is conducted in the village to get an adequate answer from the man who left the fair with another Meo’s wife.
