Mahendragarh District




The district of Mahendragarh has an area of 1,859 sq km with Narnaul as the district headquarters. It is bounded by Bhiwani and Rohtak districts in the north, Rewari District and Alwar District of Rajasthan in the east, Jaipur and Sikar districts of Rajasthan in the south, and Jhunjhunu District in the west.

Rice, wheat, barley, sugar cane, groundnut, and cottonseed are the major crops. The historical places to visit are Jal Mahal, Chor Gumbad, Birbal Ka Chhatta, and tomb of Shah Wilayat. Mandir Chamunda Devi, Modawala Mandir, Dhosi Hill, Bamanwas, Bagot, Kamania, Kanti, Mahasar, Mandola and Sehlong are among the religious places.
