Mumbai-Ferozepur Janata Express runs between Mumbai Central Railway Station in Maharashtra and Ferozepur Cantonment Railway Station in Punjab. (The Indian word ‘janata’ means ‘people.’) The train passes through New Delhi, the capital of India. The train operates daily and covers a distance of 1,775 km. Main towns on the way are Palghar, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Sawai Madhopur, Mathura, Faridabad, Rohtak and Faridkot. Only sleeper class coaches are available.

Train number 9023: Mumbai to Ferozepur, leaves Mumbai at 07:25 hrs.
Train number 9024: Ferozepur to Mumbai, leaves Ferozepur at 04:30 hrs.
