Jagadhri




Jagadhri is a major city of Yamunanagar District in Haryana. It is famous for utensils industry. In 1739, Persian Emperor Nadir Shah demolished the city and extensively damaged the ancient forts of Yugandhar and Gandhari in Jagadhri. Later, the city was rebuilt by Sardar Roa Singh, a local chieftain, in 1783.
