Fatehabad




Fatehabad is the seat of administration of Fatehabad District, in Haryana. Fatehabad is 48 km north-west of Hissar.

Places of tourist interest in the town include the Lat (a stone pillar) and the Humayun Mosque. The remains of a wall, which once fortified the town, can be seen in the outskirts. Archeological sites of Kunal Mound and Banawali Mound are other spots worth visiting.

The airports at Chandigarh, Ludhiana and New Delhi serve Fatehabad. The town in equal proximity to the railway stations at Hissar and Sirsa. National Highway 10 passes through Fatehabad.
