Ateli is a small town located in
Mahendragarh District of
Haryana. It is about 16 km north-east of
Narnaul and 38 km west of
Rewari.
Ateli is famous for the abundance of slate-stone in the hillocks of Bihali and Bajar. A slate-stone factory and a Grain market are here.
Ateli Bus Station serves the area. Ateli Railway Station is on the Rewari-Ajmer railway line.
