Gurudwara Panjokhra Sahib

Gurdwara Panjokhra Sahib is situated on the Ambala-Naraingarh Road in Panjokhra, which is 10 km from Ambala.

This Gurdwara commemorates the eighth Guru, Sri Harkrishan, who visited this place on his way to Delhi. Lal Chand, a pandit who was proud of his caste and learning, lived here during Guruji’s visit. He met Guruji and asked whether he know about the old religious books.

Guruji then asked Chhaju Ram, a village water carrier, to explain the gist of Bhagavad Gita to the pandit. The boy presented it in an intellectual way. This incident humbled the pandit. He became the disciple of Guruji and traveled with him up to Kurukshetra.
