Vav Teerth




Built in the 13th century, the Vav Teerth is a temple devoted to the second Tirthankar Ajitnath. The chief idol is that of Bhagwan Ajitnath in Padmasana posture. This bright and impressive idol is made of panchaloha. The temple is located in the village Vav, which acquired its name from the step-well or 'vav' built here by the king. Dhima is at distance of 12 km and Bhorol is 22 km from this place. Temple of Godiji Parshwanath is nearby.
