Pansar




Pansar is a small hamlet situated on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana road, about 45 km from Mehsana. Included in the Kalol taluk, this village holds the reputation of being a major Jain center in Gujarat. The major point of attraction at Pansar is the ancient Jain temple known as Shri Pansar Teerth. The 3 ft high idol of Lord Mahavir attracts a large number of devotees. The village houses another temple dedicated to Shri Dharamnath Bhagwan. Accommodation facilities are available for the pilgrims. Pansar has its own railway station to facilitate the tourists.
