Okha




Okha is a port town in Jamnagar District on the western most tip of Gujarat. This town is about 30 km north from Dwarka and 5 km from Bet Dwarka. Okha is also famous for its mines where non-abrasive grade of bauxite is extracted. The town lacks pure water and gets drinking water from Sanni Dam, which is 90 km away. The main occupation of the local residents is fishing.

Nearest railhead is Okha Railway Station and the nearest airport is Jamnagar Airport (180 km).
