Fire Temple



This famous Fire Temple is located along the Dastur Meher Road, which was once known as Agiary Street. Parsi Fire Temples are called Agiary. The temple was constructed by Sir Jeejeebhoy in 1844. It is a place of worship of the Zoroastrian people. The temple has the Atesh Adaran Saheb (the Holy Fire and Sacred Holy Book) enthroned in it. A fountain in a triangular enclosure is also situated in front of the temple. The temple is situated amidst the Cyprus trees.
