Kirti Mandir is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi situated in Porbandar, Gujarat. It lies next door to the 300-year-old mansion where Gandhi was born. The building was built by Nanaji Bhai Kalidas to memorize the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. Built in 1950, this memorial is a good place to source literature on the Mahatma Gandhi.
Kirti Mandir has a Gandhian library, a prayer hall, a spinning hall, a nursery and a steeple decorated with episodes from Gandhiji's life. A lamp keeps there lit day and night. The photo gallery documents his life and his struggle to lead India to independence. The walls of the house display the important events of his life. Situated behind the Kirti Mandir is Navi Khadki where Kasturba Gandhi was born.
