Kirti Mandir

Kirti Mandir is situated on the north of the statue of Prince Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad near the Vishwamitri Bridge in Vadodara, Gujarat. It is a monument built by Maharaja Sayaji Rao III in 1936 in the memory of his ancestors, along with a cluster of Shiva temples.

Various rooms of this E-shaped large magnificent stone building are decorated with photographs of the members of the royal family. The building has a marble-finished interior. Walls of its central hall have the murals of Gangavataran, battle of Mahabharat, life of Meera and Natir Puja. There is a huge dome, terraces, statues and photographs of the Royal family in this temple. The sun, the moon and the earth in bronze with the undivided map of India increases the appeal of Kirti Mandir.
