The Iranshah Atash Behram at Udvada near Surat has the distinction of having the oldest sacred fire of Parsis in India. Consecrated in 1742, this holy fire was brought by Iranian refugees to Udvada, shortly after their arrival at Sanjan in South Gujarat. This is the most important pilgrimage site for the Parsi sect of India. It also houses the Dasturji Koyaji Mirza Hall and the WZO Museum.
