Halar Teerth

A Jain Temple



Halar Teerth is a sacred place at a distance of 11 km from Jamkhambhaliya, on the Jamnagar highway road. The temple is managed by the Halar Teerth Aradhana Bhavan. Positioned on the bank of the Sinhan river, the temple is 98 ft high. Inside the temple, two big brass bells weighing more than 60 kg are the major source of attraction. The chief idol is that of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami in the Padmasana posture. The idol is about 177 cm high and white in colour. The temple also enshrines the idols of Bhagwan Adinath, Bhagwan Shantinath and Bhagwan Purshadaniya Parshnath. Temples of Manibhadravir and Saraswatidevi are near the main gate of the temple. It is a good place for meditation. Bus services and private vehicles are available. There are boarding and lodging facilities.
