Sarvodaya Express



Sarvodaya Express runs between Ahmedabad Junction Railway Station in Gujarat and Jammu Tawi Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir. (‘Sarvodaya’ means 'prosperity to all.' It is a Gandhian philosophy practiced at his ashram near Ahmedabad.) The train passes through New Delhi, the capital of India. It covers a distance of 1,685 km and the main towns on the way are Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Mathura, Nizamuddin, Panipat, Ambala, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. Second A/C, third A/C and sleeper class coaches are available.

Train number 2473: Ahmedabad to Jammu Tawi, leaves Ahmedabad on Saturdays at 11:40 hrs.
Train number 2474: Jammu Tawi to Ahmedabad, leaves Jammu Tawi on Thursdays at 11:15 hrs.
