Gomati River




The Gomati is a west flowing river that rises from the Sahyadri Mountain Ranges (Western Ghats). It is an important river of the Tapi river basin. After a steep flow through the mountain ranges, the river Gomati finally merges with the Arabian Sea at Gomati Ghat.

Samudra Narayana Temple, Dwarakadesh Temple and Gomatiji Temple are the holy shrines on the banks of the Gomati.
